Collection: Incense

The importance of incense Incense rituals are as old as there are people. Smoke and fire convey a radical directness that we experience directly in a sensual way. Fire confronts us with the earthly conditions of life and teaches us reverence. In the form of heat, fire shows itself as a life-affirming force and in the form of burning heat as a life-denying threat. Smoke as a result of fire and as a reaction to burning matter is equivalent to the psychic detachment from the physical. According to the alchemical view, the volatile essential oils, which are responsible for the aromatic scent of most traditional incense plants, correspond to the soul part of a plant.

All of our products are handmade and come from very close and trustful sources. We receive our Rapé from a friend, who has direct connections to the tribes since decades. Every Kuripe and Tepi is also from him. The Tinctures & Extracts are all made in Switzerland under swiss laboratory compliance. The Incense is made by a friend, who himself grows all the included plants himself.
